The Leeds Liverpool Canal offers stunning scenery with the beautiful Yorkshire Dales to the east and Lancashire's evocative industrial heritage to the West. The famous double bridge at East Marton and the Foulridge Tunnel are both nearby.

Bancroft Mill Museum, with its magnificent, working steam engine - one of the last working steam mill engines.
